We have an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a highly rewarding position that will be pivotal in shaping the future policy direction of the JFSC. A member of the Executive team reporting to the Director General, this role will develop and implement policies to the benefit of Jersey’s financial services industry and local residents.
Working closely with international and domestic policy makers, the Director of Policy and Risk responds to directives and international standard changes, and deals with other international stakeholders. Locally, the Policy and Risk division, for which this role has responsibility, focuses on improving and enhancing legislation, Codes of Practice, underlying rules and guidance, as well as being active with domestic innovation such as a the Island’s growing FinTech sector.
