This is a fixed-term contract for up to three years.
We are actively seeking a Director General to lead Jersey’s financial regulator and help shape the island’s financial services industry of tomorrow.
As Director General, you will oversee the efficient day-to-day operations of the organisation while contributing to the strategic development of an important international finance centre.
You will lead in effecting regulatory and supervisory change, exercising statutory and regulatory powers, defining best practice for a critical and independent organisation, and protecting and enhancing Jersey’s reputation and integrity in commercial and financial matters.
You will be the key spokesperson for the regulator, representing and enhancing the JFSC’s profile in international, political, industry, and domestic activities.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic and engaging leader with significant experience within financial services regulation or a financial services environment and comprehensive knowledge of relevant international standards and policy matters.
